Hospice cleaning enterprise awards business for its social value

A commercial cleaning enterprise run by St Helena Hospice has awarded its first social value certificate to property and construction consultancy Ingleton Wood.

Total Clean Colchester in support of St Helena Hospice offers professional cleaning services to local businesses, with all profits going into the local charity to support people in north east Essex who face incurable illness and bereavement.

The certificate was presented to recognise the social value that Ingleton Wood is creating through appointing its Colchester office daily commercial cleaning contract to Total Clean Colchester in support of St Helena Hospice.

Ingleton Wood became the enterprise’s first client in July, recognising that the contract would support its own Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR/ESG) goals for businesses since it would support local people in need of hospice care.

David Cresswell, managing partner of Ingleton Wood, said:

“Total Clean Colchester has been absolutely fantastic since taking over our cleaning contract. The offices are spotless and their representatives are a joy to work with.

“The best thing is we are able to support the superb work of St Helena through the service that Total Clean provides.”

Kevin McGill, general manager of Total Clean Colchester in support of St Helena Hospice, added:

“It is a privilege to be providing commercial office cleaning for Ingleton Wood as the company has an incredible track record in supporting St Helena over many years, and has a genuine passion for investing and tracking social value in the local community through its procurement activities.

“To be appointed by Ingleton Wood, knowing they are also committed to investing in St Helena, is really special for us.

“Year on year, through the provision of daily office cleaning from Total Clean Colchester, Ingleton Wood will be raising vital funds for St Helena, so it is only right that we recognise their fantastic commitment through awarding this certificate.
