The memory tree in the reception at the hospice.

What is the St Helena memory tree?

The memory tree is a hand-carved oak trunk with branches and 500 bronze, silver and gold coloured leaves.

You can choose whether to display your engraved leaf on the tree for one, two or three years and at the end of the display period, you will be given the opportunity to renew your dedicated leaf and continue supporting our local community in this way, or have your leaf returned to you in a keepsake box. Suggested donations for your leaf are listed below.

Each gift given to dedicate a leaf on the memory tree goes a long way to help and support people in our community facing an incurable illness or bereavement.

If you would prefer to keep your leaf close to you, we can have the leaf engraved with your loved one’s name and sent straight out to you. For more information visit the memory leaves page.

Before dedicating a leaf please read our terms and conditions below.

A £100 donation is greatly appreciated and will keep your leaf on the memory tree for one year. This could pay for three bereavement sessions, helping people come to terms with the death of a loved one.

A £185 donation is a wonderful gift and will keep your leaf on the memory tree for two years. This could pay to run our SinglePoint 24/7 phoneline for an hour, providing a vital lifeline to families in the community.

A £270 donation means the world to us and will keep your leaf on the tree for three years. This could run our rehab service for three hours, helping patients to maintain their independence for as long as possible.
