Deaf or hard of hearing British Sign Language (BSL) users can contact us via our website using a BSL Live button. This will connect you to a Registered BSL interpreter from the SignVideo relay service who will interpret the call. 

If you are a BSL user and wish to contact the Hospice or our SinglePoint service please use the button below to connect. 

We also have on-demand video remote interpreting which means staff will be able to communicate with deaf residents/visitors as and when needed on the spot. 

This service is provided in partnership with SignVideo and is available 24/7 365 days a year.

How do I use SignVideo
Here are two ways you can use SignVideo:

SignVideo Web
Click on the link/button on this page to call the service you want to reach. A SignVideo interpreter will appear on
your screen to interpret your conversation.

SignVideo App
Download the SignVideo app. Please see for more information. When you
open the app, you will see the SignDirectory. Scroll down the SignDirectory and look for the service you want to call. Click on the button for that service and a SignVideo interpreter will appear on your screen to interpret your conversation.

What do I need?
To use SignVideo, you will need three things as minimum requirements:

1) A device:
You can use the SignVideo servicein the following ways:
  • Via an internet browser on a computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone
  • Via the SignVideo app on your computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone

2) A webcam:
This can be plugged in or built into your device.

3) A good internet connection:
For the best experience with SignVideo, we advise having a minimum 2mbps upload and
download internet speed. Your internet connection can be
any of the following:
  • 3G,4G,5G mobile network
  • Plugged in Broadband/ethernet
  • WiFi
With these three requirements met, you will be able to connect to our BSL interpreters easily and within an instant!
