St Helena is currently looking for Health Care Assistants to join our hospice team.

• You will work across the IPU and on Single Point
• You will assist in providing high standards of specialist palliative care to patients and their relatives
• Provide physical, social and emotional care in the patients' home and in the Inpatient Unit
• We have full and part-time roles available
• This post will include an unsocial hours payment on top of your salary
• Full UK driving licence is required

What we’re looking for

This is an opportunity to further develop knowledge and skills to benefit your practice and the lives of patients and their loved ones through advanced communication skills, symptom control management and end of life care.

Previous experience in palliative care is not essential. We would like to welcome applications from anyone who have the desire to provide gold standard palliative care and make a difference to those in their care.
