Enjoy the London Marathon, at your pace, your way.

On Sunday 3 October 2021, 50,000 people will have the chance to be a part of the biggest marathon ever staged anywhere in the world. Take on the virtual Virgin Money London Marathon for #TeamStHelena and help local people face incurable illness and bereavement.

You'll have a whole 24 hours to complete the 26.2 mile distance so you can take as long as you need to complete it. You can stop and start as you need to throughout the time or do it all in one go; walk or run, it's up to you! You can complete your marathon from home, or wherever you are on a course of your choice. 

Why get involved? 

We receive only a third of our funding from the NHS and rely on the generosity of our community for the rest. Over the last year, our income has been severely impacted by national lockdowns, shop closures and cancelled fundraising events. By taking part in the virtual London Marathon, you can help us to continue to be here for local patients and families who need our support.

  • fundraising support and tips to help you smash your £100 target

There is no registration fee for signing up to run the virtual London Marathon for St Helena Hospice, but we ask that you raise a minimum of £100 sponsorship.
