Enjoy the sea air and fantastic atmosphere by starting at either Clacton Pier or Walton Pier and walking 7 miles to the other pier, or challenge yourself by walking 14 miles there and back - the choice is yours!
You'll be joining hundreds of people walking at their own pace along the promenade.
People choose to walk with us on their own or with friends and family for different reasons. Lena has walked Pier to Pier for the last few years in memory of her daughter Marie-Louise, who was 24 when she was diagnosed with cancer:
For every mile I walk from Pier to Pier, I feel with her in my heart I am making a difference she would be proud of. She started her fundraising at a very difficult time in her short life; the least I can do is to continue that, knowing what a massive difference the support meant to us when we needed it most.
Photo: Lena (right) will be walking with us again this year with her daughter Amy (centre) and her grandson Hunter (left). Lena's story shares the difficult, but important, conversations she had with her daughter Marie-Louise.
If you will be thinking about someone as you walk, you may like to download an 'I'm walking Pier to Pier for...' sign to decorate or write a message on it, and wear it on the day. Along the route you may like to pause for a moment at our memory stop to write a message on a tag and place it on our tree.
