Willing to face great heights for St Helena? Then we challenge you to participate in our Orbital Abseil on 1st September 2019.
Join us for the freefall abseil event from the UK's tallest sculpture located in The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park at Stratford for an adrenaline filled way raise money and awareness for St Helena.
The entry fee for this challenge is £50 and we are asking participants to raise a minimum of £295.
£295 could pay for four sessions of our One Day at a Time Men’s Group, a group setting in which men can meet to learn about living fully despite the effects of their illnesses.
On the day, after a comprehensive briefing, you will begin the free-fall descent to the ground, taking in the breath-taking 20 mile view across London, including sights of The Gherkin, St Paul's, Canary Wharf and Wembley Stadium. To make sure you don’t miss a moment, your helmet will be complete with a fitted Go Pro and will record your 80 metre decent to the ground, giving you the opportunity to relive the experience once you return safely to the ground.
This challenge is a free fall, meaning once you leave the top of The Orbit, there will be no wall for you to touch on the way down. This is the perfect daredevil experience or one for those looking to conquer a fear of heights.
