As of 26th December, all of our shops and donation centres will be temporarily closed under Tier 4 restrictions.
Where can I take my donated goods?
We ask that larger donations, not listed below, are taken to our Donation Centres at either Stanway or Mersea or a furniture collection is arranged. Smaller donations of up to two small bags can be taken to any of our shops during opening hours.
If you would like advice on items you would like to donate please contact our Donation Centre Team on 01206 890165 ext 4.
What can I not donate?
We’re incredibly grateful for the support of our community donating items to be resold in our shops and online, however, there are some items that we are unfortunately unable to accept:
If items are broken or need repair they are unlikely to be saleable. We do recycle as much as we can but this incurs a cost to dispose of unusable items. If you are unsure if your donation is saleable, please call the team for advice.
There is however a number of places that can home these items. Please visit Recycle Now to find out what to do with your unwanted goods and where to recycle them.
How do I arrange a furniture collection?
We offer free furniture collections for larger items, to arrange a collection please contact our Furniture Shop directly on 01206 890165. Larger items include:
Each individual upholstered item must have a fire label attached. All items collected need to be in good saleable condition; our collection drivers are happy to offer advice!
