We help local people face incurable illness, supporting them and their families, friends and carers. We also support children and adults who are facing bereavement. To do so we rely heavily on the help and generosity of local businesses, both big and small.
Our dedicated Fundraising Team are always looking for new corporate partners in North Essex who are interested in the vital care and support we provide to members of our community, and who are keen to get involved and build a relationship with us.

Local spa and hotel, Lifehouse have raised £20,220 since December 2014 through their Charity of the Year partnership with St Helena. This could pay for nurses at The Hospice for an entire week. Our nurses support people who have complex care needs that cannot be managed at home, for example pain or nausea, as well as providing dignified and compassionate care in the last days of life.
The ways you can help us is only limited by what you can come up with, however some examples of how you can get involved include:
Marks and Spencer in Clacton raised £2,523 for St Helena through their Charity of the Year partnership with us. This could pay for three of our Breathe Happy Group sessions at our Tendring Centre in Clacton. The group takes place over six sessions for up to 10 people at a time helping individuals to learn techniques and exercises to help them relax and breathe more easily if they are experiencing difficulties due to their illness.
