Light up a Life 2023

Join us to remember those we love and miss this Christmas by dedicating a light in their memory.

Please come along to our Light up a Life event on Thursday 14th December where our hospice garden and Christmas tree will be lit up to honour and remember loved ones at this special time of year.

2023

14th December - 14th December

18:30 - 20:00

Registration deadline: 8th December

Our Light up a Life event will take place on Thursday 14th December 2023 in the St Helena Hospice garden, Myland Hall, Barncroft Close, Highwoods, Colchester, CO4 9JU.

The event will include a Christmas light switch on in memory, a reading from our spirituality team lead Tim, Christmas carols and some delicious festive refreshments. At the service you will also receive a remembrance booklet with your dedication included.

It will cost £30,000 to run St Helena’s services on Christmas Day. Will you help to raise this incredible amount, by dedicating a light, so St Helena can support those experiencing their last Christmas to make special memories and enjoy treasured traditions?

Christmas can be a time to cherish, and for many people facing incurable illness it may be their last opportunity to create memories together with their loved ones. Your generous support can help make this Christmas a comforting experience for them. Everyone deserves the chance to experience the joy of one last Christmas.

To ensure your dedication to your loved one is included in our Christmas remembrance booklet, please ensure you make your donation and dedication by Friday 8th December 2023.
