The St Helena Hospice Winter Raffle is back and taking part couldn’t be simpler. Each ticket will enter you for a chance to win, and only costs £1. You can buy as many or as few tickets as you like. Your tickets with payment need to be returned to the Fundraising Office, Unit 1, The Atrium, Phoenix Square, Wyncolls Road, Colchester, CO4 9AS, by Tuesday 17th March 2020 to be entered into the draw, the draw will take place at the Fundraising Office on 27th March 2020. But hurry, if you return your tickets to us by Friday 31st January 2020 you could be in with a chance of winning afternoon tea for two at Greyfriars Luxury Hotel & Restaurant, Colchester.

What could our raffle mean to you?

How would you spend your winnings? Perhaps you would treat yourself to that holiday you have always dreamed of but have had to resist or surprise a friend or family member with a special gift. However you would spend it, give yourself the opportunity to win, by taking part in our Winter Raffle. 

What could our raffle mean to our patients and families?

For the lucky winner these prizes could make a difference but by playing the St Helena Hospice Winter Raffle, you will be making a difference to local people and their families. If you bought two books of raffle tickets that would give you 20 chances to win the raffle and your £20 donation could pay for home cooked meals for a patient staying at The Hospice for two days. All our meals are freshly prepared on site to be highly nutritious and tasty encourage those with loss of appetite to eat. Fish and chips is a particular favourite!

Steve received respite care at The Hospice to help manage the symptoms of motor neurone disease. He said:

“The fish and chips cooked on site are amazing; I’m just going there for the food really! I have no worries at all about going.”

By playing taking part in the raffle you will help ensure that we are here to provide outstanding care 24 hours a day, both at The Hospice and out in the community. The money raised from last year’s Winter Raffle could pay for our Community Clinical Nurse Specialist team for a week, delivering personal care, symptom management, advice and support day and night to those who need it.
