Celebrate and remember the life of a loved one this February with a Snowdrop.
Remember someone special to you with a beautiful commemorative snowdrop. Each flower has been hand-crafted by the British Ironwork Centre for St Helena Hospice and will be used to create a stunning visual display of memories at Beth Chatto Gardens.
The Snowdrops will be open to view from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th February, giving visitors the opportunity to reflect on the life and memories of a loved one. The St Helena Hospice Snowdrops will be planted amongst a bed of real snowdrops, creating a striking visual display as they come into bloom.
Visitors will have the opportunity to dedicate a message to their loved one on our remembrance boards which will be proudly displayed throughout the weekend at Beth Chatto Gardens. Following the display the boards will be moved to St Helena's Learning & Development Centre, where people have the chance to view the boards again and share in a moment of reflection.
Beth Chatto Gardens is kindly hosting the installation for St Helena Hospice. The family-run garden and nursery has been a staple in the local area for over 50 years, and we are delighted to display the Snowdrops in their beautiful grounds, lining the woodland path, leading to the Reflection Garden. Each Snowdrop comes with 3 free entries (worth £13.50) to Beth Chatto Gardens over the weekend to visit the display.
There are a limited number of Snowdrops available for a suggested donation of £30 to St Helena Hospice, which could help a child dealing with the death of a parent to work with the Bereavement team to channel their feelings with activities such as decorating a flowerpot and planting their own snowdrops.
After the display, your Snowdrop is yours to keep or give as a gift.

Lauren will be dedicating a snowdrop for her mum Shelley, who died at The Hospice age 45 when Lauren was 16.
“We did so many activities together which was amazing and they were all made available because we were supported by The Hospice. My mum and I made heart-shaped fake flower arrangements together and to do that with my mum was incredible. I got to keep them and it was great my mum was able to do that for us."
