Auction - online
Sell some items you no longer want or need on eBay and donate the money you make
Bare your roots
One for those who usually dye their hair! Share photos or videos of your growing roots on social media and nominate friends to get involved and donate. For those people that don’t dye their hair, get people to sponsor you to grow your hair out or even to shave it off instead
Bucket collections (virtual)
Set up an online giving page as a bucket collection and ask your friends to donate what they can
Bake off (virtual)
Set up a live stream of you baking, or sharing a recipe and ask viewers to donate
Coffee morning (virtual)
Organise a virtual catch up with friends and all agree to donate
Continue your usual community clubs, or start new ones on video call and ask members to donate
Dress up or dress down day
Organise a fancy dress day and share photos on social media, or agree with your colleagues to attend a video meeting in fancy dress or pyjamas and make a donation.
Video call some friends, nominate someone as DJ and party together in your living room!
Put on a live workout and ask viewers to donate
Set up a in lieu of birthday gifts or just because!
If you're using this time to have a good sort out make sure to save up any old or foreign currency you find and save it to donate once restrictions are lifted.
Games night (virtual)
Go live with an online board game and ask people to donate to play
Give something up
You could give up an unhealthy habit like smoking, or simply stop eating something that you love, make it something challenging and ask people to sponsor your efforts!

Set yourself a personal challenge, like doing 15 press ups a day and ask your friends to sponsor you - or nominate them to do it and donate

Loose Change Collection
If you find loose change down the back of the sofa, or at the bottom of a handbag, add it to a jar or moneybox and donate when restrictions are lifted.

Why wouldn't you want to dress as a pirate for a day? Live stream on social media, or in your work video call.
Open Gardens (virtual)
Give a virtual tour of your garden online and share tips and take questions from viewers
Organise with your colleagues to work in your pyjamas for a day, get on a video call and prove it
Donate the money you're saving on commuting to work

Race in the garden
Challenge your household to a series of garden races, the loser pays a fine in the form of a donation
Hold your household accountable for their naughty language during lockdown and punish them with fines to donate
Talent show (virtual)
Come together to put on an online show
Pop a jar next to the fridge or biscuit tin at home and make a donation every time you snack
We all have our special talents, why not give tips on a live stream in exchange for donations. If you're good around the house offer to give instructions for DIY, if you're a fitness instructor help someone with a fitness plan, or if you like art teach viewers how to draw or paint.
Offer a helping hand and pledge to do jobs for people in return for online donations. Whether it's helping someone in your household by doing the hoovering, or pledging to clean a friends car once restrictions are lifted, odd jobs could soon add up to a lot of money for your favourite cause.
Get sponsored to walk a certain distance during your daily exercise

Okay so it might not be on right now but you could hold a watching party of any TV show!
