The Hospice supports people in North Essex who have complex care needs that cannot be managed at home. We provide individual care and total support within our beds for people aged over 18 with complex needs due to advanced, progressive or incurable illness.
We provide a wide range of complementary therapies to help patients, their families and carers who are facing stress and anxiety because of their illness and diagnosis.

St Helena’s Safe Harbour project reaches out to people who traditionally have had difficulty accessing hospice services, such as people who are homeless, have a history of drug and alcohol addiction, people with a mental health problem, ethnic minorities, LGBTQ groups, refugees or those living in areas of deprivation.
At St Helena, we aim to improve people’s wellbeing by focusing on their physical, emotional and spiritual needs, bringing comfort and relief to all those who need it.
